Single family residences are readily available within Simpsonville, with prices ranging from $60,000 to over $400,000. There are at least 70 residential communities with new ones being added continuously. Single family residential rental units are limited, but there are 14 complexes in Simpsonville with a total of over 1,200 units.
POPULATION
In 1970, the city had a population of 3,308, and by 1990, it had jumped to 11,708, a 254% increase. The 1997 population was 14,488, increased by 23.74% since 1990. Simpsonville is a youthful community. Sixty-one percent of the population is under the age of 35, 31% under the age of 18, and 24% between the ages of 35 and 54.
